pricing & aftercare

Straight answers on how consultations work, how pricing works, and what to expect while healing.

how consultations work

Consultations happen over text or email — not in person. Send a photo or video of the area (and the old tattoo, for cover-ups), along with reference images for the idea. "A rose tattoo" isn't enough on its own; there are countless ways to draw one, so references matter. Everything gets worked out from there before anything is booked.

how pricing works

Pricing is per session, not a single flat number for the whole tattoo. Larger pieces and sleeves are simply spread across more sessions as the work progresses. Good tattoo work takes time and skill, and it's priced like the fine art it is — not like a bargain.

Starting RangeTypical Fit
$200 – $400Small, simple pieces
$400 – $600Small to medium detail work
$600 – $1,200Medium pieces, more detail or shading
$1,200 – $2,500Large pieces, single session
$2,500+Sleeves & large-scale work (multi-session)

These are starting ranges to help plan a session, not a fixed quote — exact pricing is worked out in the consultation based on size, detail, and placement.

why a private studio

This isn't a shop floor with several artists working side by side. It's one artist, one client, one session at a time — no other chair going next to yours, no piece getting handed off partway through to whoever's free.

That's what the per-session pricing reflects — dedicated time and one artist's full attention, not overhead split across a shop full of chairs.

aftercare basics
