how consultations work

Consultations happen over text or email — not in person. Send a photo or video of the area (and the old tattoo, for cover-ups), along with reference images for the idea. "A rose tattoo" isn't enough on its own; there are countless ways to draw one, so references matter. Everything gets worked out from there before anything is booked.

how pricing works

Every tattoo is either flash or custom, and they're priced differently — knowing which one you're getting is what tells you what to expect to pay.

Flash Tattoos (Pre-Drawn)

Flash is ready-to-tattoo art, already designed and sized — no custom design time built into the price.

Custom Tattooing (Designed For You)

Custom work means nothing pre-drawn — the design is built specifically for you, and no one else will ever have it. Treat it like the milestone it is: you're marking your body with something that matters, and it stays with you everywhere you go for the rest of your life. That's worth investing in.

A great tattoo turns you into a walking museum. A cheap one just turns into something you'll eventually cover up.

These numbers aren't padding — they're the time, skill, and design work that goes into a piece that's actually yours. Larger custom pieces and sleeves are simply spread across more sessions. It's an investment in your own image and confidence — the one thing no one can ever take from you.

why a private studio

This isn't a shop floor with several artists working side by side. It's one artist, one client, one session at a time — no other chair going next to yours, no piece getting handed off partway through to whoever's free.

• One artist, start to finish. The same hand designs the piece, tattoos every session, and handles every touch-up — no apprentice or second artist finishing someone else's work.
• The session is booked for you, not shared. No other client in the chair, no attention split between two pieces at once.
• Cover-up specialist, including pieces other artists have turned down — not a general skill picked up on the side.
• Over 14 years behind the machine, entirely self-taught — no formal background, just years of dedication. This is the third shop built from the ground up, and every one of those years shows in the precision.

That's what the per-session pricing reflects — dedicated time and one artist's full attention, not overhead split across a shop full of chairs.

aftercare basics

Full aftercare instructions are provided at every appointment. Your first bandage depends on what your artist used:

Second Skin / Saniderm (adhesive bandage film)

• Leave it on for 3–5 days unless your artist tells you otherwise — fluid or plasma pooling underneath is normal.
• It's waterproof, so you can shower with it on, but don't soak or submerge it.
• Remove it early if it leaks heavily, lifts badly, or causes real pain — remove slowly in a warm shower, pulling in the direction of hair growth.

Regular Plastic Wrap

• Only meant to stay on a few hours — remove within about 2–4 hours, never overnight, since it isn't breathable.

Once any wrap is off, the routine is the same:

• Wash gently with clean hands, unscented antibacterial soap, and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel, never a cloth towel.
• Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare product 2–3 times a day for the first several days, then switch to a fragrance-free lotion once it starts to peel.
• Don't pick, scratch, or peel scabs — let them fall off naturally.
• No soaking — avoid baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes, and oceans until fully healed (roughly 2–4 weeks).
• Keep it out of direct sun while healing, and use SPF 30+ over the tattoo once healed to keep it looking sharp long-term.
• Call or text the shop right away if you notice excess redness, red streaking, swelling, pus, or fever — signs of possible infection.
